April Fools, jerks! Registration for the Hardcourt Bicycle Polo World Championships is now officially open. Please go to hardcourtbicyclepolofederation.com to register. The Fed website is a joint effort of Chris Dilts and Ben Schultz (M.I.A.) in Chicago; I accept neither credit nor blame for the bulk of its content. Thanks, both of you.
I have competing nightmares, one where nobody shows up, one where 113 teams register - please put my mind at ease by registering as early as possible, so I have a reasonable headcount to make arrangements for. I have presently reserved/plan to build four hockey rinks which I think should accommodate sixty teams (Chicago had two courts for 35 teams, and I only died of boredom/anticipation twice during the whole weekend). If my numbers exceed 60 I may choose to cap the event, rather than allow it to collapse under its own weight.
The cost per team is $120 until July 1st (less than my initial estimate of sixty dollars per player), $200 thereafter. There should be a feature allowing you to register now, but pay at the tournament: $180. Don't think I don't know how expensive that is - I apologize. After almost three months of trying to squeeze money out of what I thought were likely sources, I have embarrassingly little to show for my efforts. If I hear somebody say "in this economy" one more time... Roxy (London) and I are presently in negotiations with a familiar bicycle industry company for a sponsorship which may bring an influx of cash to the Worlds, as well as the EHBPC and North Americans. If we secure significant cash support in the near future, lowering the cost of entry will be my first priority. Please don't take that as a reason to delay your registration, the Fed account will promptly refund all those already registered if the price is lowered.
There is also a forum at the the Fed website which your registration will grant you access to. Ben (Chicago), Mike (London), myself and a few others will, shortly, post conversations about/suggestions for a unifying rulebook for Hardcourt Polo. We would very much appreciate your input and opinions on the rules for tournament play. The ultimate goal will be a set of rules that everyone can agree to prior to the Worlds in September, hopefully with trial runs at EHBPC and NAs.
Thanks so much, everybody, I can't wait to play all of you in Philly.

well, we're coming anyway. curious though, what is so expensive about this tournament. surely this shatters all records for entry fees.

You're not kidding. I apologize again. $40 per player is a lot, but it is the World Championships, and I don't want it to suck. I expect to have to build at least one regulation roller hockey court to match the scale of the other three I've reserved, light it, and have 24 hour security for the duration of the weekend to prevent crackhead South Philly slumlord contractors from stealing all the lumber. I also anticipate needing to bus players between courts (at least once between round-robin play on day one) to keep the bracketing representative. I want to do all of this without inconveniencing or annoying players. And I want to have a huge fucking party. I couldn't have chosen a worse year to volunteer my city for an undertaking of this scale: there's just no corporate largesse left in the world right now, but, I promise I'm working on it. As I said before, I have received lots of generous in-kind sponsorship already, and cash assistance may well be in the works. If the loot comes in, it goes right back to you guys. As for you, budget constraints shouldn't be a problem: you're a shoo-in to win the North Americans, and registration fees will be waived for the winners of the EHBPC and NAs. Travel-related bonuses should be in place for the winners of those tourneys as well. Just sayin'.

>and registration fees will be waived for the winners of the EHBPC and NAs

Please don't keep forgetting Australia. There might not be so many of us flying over, but if you want have a truly representative "world" federation, you're going to have to start thinking of us a little more.

We're working on our Nationals...

Oh, I haven't forgotten you. Last I heard, nobody was planning on attending, but it's good to hear news to the contrary. If you only muster one team, they play free, if more are coming you should try to pull off a National Champs or some other qualifier. And you should clean up the "farthest traveled" prize, unless the London kids go backwards around the globe to get here.

Sweet, Thanks Montana...

National Messenger champs (ACMC) is on next week (in Perth) Looks like polo may only be a minor activity, but each Australian State Capital has bike polo now, so we could see a good turnout at a high level. The ACMC champs looked like it could have been the defacto polo nationals for a while, but we're not sure whats in store. (See my other thread on this)

Either way, thanks for the response. stay in touch and check bikepolo.com.au every now and then.

so here we go

yup

$40 per player is nothing. It equals to a good bike tire, a dinner in a normal restaurant, a good bottle of Champagne, a basic jumper at Uniqlo, a round of beers for your mates in a london pub, etc...

well done and good luck - I hope I can make it

you can hardly get a good bottle of champagne for 40$. maybe some shit from california. but you might be dealing with a little bit of location and you know what the say about location. i think its something like location location location. but thats not really saying anything about location as much as it is just saying location three times. 42

oh and if you are going to spend the money let it be like we say here in wisco

champange for my real friends

real pain for my sham friends.

yeah this is going to be sweet. might be moving back to philly in time for this too.......

working on assembling a team and will register ASAP. that being said, if anyone from out of town needs a third or wants to form up, please let me know.

Damon ,,,,,,whats up... your game has to be hot by now. see you in Philly. I know Seattle is stoked and after hosting the north americans....we'll be drooling. $40 can't even get to the top of the mountain now a days!!!!! I spend that on beer along on my self tonight!

Hey Mess, good to hear from you... I'll be around Van in June/July for a few weeks, could possibly get down to Seattle too. that would be cool. Hows _your_ game, Hows the little one? Sarah has been watching alot of Greys anatomy recently, Ah Seattle...

It's hard to tell how my game is now because we're so far from everywhere else and nobody here and hence nobody I've played with/against has been playing for more than 18 months. (Apart from Leigh from Victoria, BC who shifted back here last December)

I have to start saving _now_ for Philly. but more of a worry is keeping my Team mates on track, we're looking at $2k each and there's no national champs that will be offering $6k prize money (unless we organise it ourselves :)

Oh hey. can you and or anyone else tag names of these players, I took these photos at your tourney in 07.

Gotta do more player portraits for Melbourne, we're getting 30+ people on Tuesday nights.

Damon

Does anyone have any suggestions on sponsorship? Has it always just been schwag for prizes or have sponsors been more flexible, kids get sent to regional tourneys by city sporting grants all the time, anyone been successful in this regard for an unknown obscure sport like bike polo?

Like I said, we're looking at a package that might include financial help for the tournaments as well as airfare assistance for winners of NA and EHBPC, but there's not much of a precedent for this sort of thing in polo. Have you tried KNOG? I know they're from down there somewhere; I met a few of those guys at Interbike, and they said they were all about polo. They have pictures of polo players (or models appearing to play polo) in their elaborate, vaguely pornographic catalog for this year. Worth a try?

yeah that's damon himself (urbancyclist) in the polo spread. i have it above my bed...

Yep, thats me... I appear to play polo occasionally.

Unfortunatly the Australians won't be making it to the worlds this year. Which sucks alot in a very big way because we were so keen, but money, work and family dramas have held each of us back.

The good news is however that locally, things are developing really well. First nationals are this November, 3 weeks ago Melbourne sent 8 players to Sydney (thats a 10 hour drive, so be impressed)

I was fortunate enough to get a good dose of cascadia only a few weeks ago too.

Have an awesome tourney, we'll be watching.

I'm hoping to bring at least one London (UK) team.

MALICE for the people.

I've been lazy about posting on other forums, but I'm pretty sure we're getting three from London alone, if that's any indication. I think it's too early to tell. There's so many tournaments, I won't be surprised if a lot of people blow their travel budget too early in the season and only ten teams show up to Worlds.

It looks like you're having the opposite of that problem. I'm very curious to know how you're organizing the event. Round robin Saturday qualifying for Sunday double elim?

Correct. That'll be the format. If you're so certain there's gonna be a ton of teams, why don't I have your registration yet?

honestly man, have you learned nothing about polo players?

Just because I know you're despicable, shiftless people doesn't mean I can't scold you for it. Honestly, Piet, have you learned nothing about me?

How many teams have registered thus far?

TOP CENTER 4-EVA

Okay catfish, I'm going to move my mouth like this...

Three. One French and two Canadian teams are registered so far. Which brings me to my next point...
Please, kids, for the love of polo, REGISTER ALREADY! I've secured three courts together, so there will be no transportation cost, and the bill for some stuff won't come due til after the tournament, but I still need some loot up front to make this thing as awesome as it can be. The rules forum is open here, as well as a sneak-peek at one of the limited edition Swifts that Brooks is making for the Worlds. Sign up and check it out.

we had custom engraved swallows at our tourney
www.mkebikepolo.com

If you're not able to register in the next day or two, wait for the site to get updated after July 1st - It looks like I'll be getting the event insurance I want and I won't need to hike the price. Pre-reg will remain $120, week of or "at event" will go to $180. To get all the games near each other, we're shrinking the tournament to three courts, which will mean a cap around 40 teams (haven't worked out the brackets yet), so get your shit together and register. 2 German, 2 French and 2 Canadian teams, not a single American. USA, you suck.

how many teams have registered?

glassFifteen teams have registered so far, for a complete list see hardcourtbicyclepolofederation.com. If you have registered, or attempted to register and do not see your name there, contact me immediately.

With three courts, we're capping the tourney at 48 teams. Thirty-two will advance from the first day of round-robin play to a double elimination tournament to declare the World Champion, sixteen will be relegated to their own single elimination "B" tournament (held the same day, with its own separate prize pool). This should allow the brackets to run smoothly while ensuring that everybody gets to play as much polo as possible.

Pictured is the handsome pint glass which each player will receive with their registration packet. These work best when used in conjunction with Philadelphia Brewing Company beverages, but each one has been rigorously tested in TPL facilites to ensure compatibility with other manufacturers products.

***Montana, I fixed your URL and even made it a link so people won't have to copy and paste. YOU'RE WELCOME. Now give Slapdick extra points. Jerk.

I will drink many of shirley temples out of that glass! maybe even some proper tricycle shots!

Ooh, good catch, thanks. But now I can't figure out how to edit it. Oh well, I guess it just goes to show that Ken was right: hardcourtbicyclepolofederationofenthusiastswhoreallyliketoplayhardcourtbicyclepolo.com is kind of a cumbersome domain name. In my defense, HBPF.com was taken already by the Hunch-backed Pig Farmers of America or something like that.

Hey Montana
No Brooks logo eh? Ouch. : (
Suzette

It is not the name of Brooks which makes the saddle good, but the saddle and its excellence which makes the name supreme. (The Brooks Book for Cyclists, 1912)

Awww, the talking saddle made a sad face! That's so cute. We actually tried to get a sponsor's logo on the opposite side of the pint glass (I'm assuming that's what you're referring to), but the company screwed up the artwork. If you're interested in having us print another run of these, let me know and I can work it out.

Our legal dept. has brought it to my attention that this ^ may have come off as snarky. Astute, but inaccurate. I really do think that it's super cute. It's actually even funnier than when the Milwaukee Pologuard showed up in person to defend itself against its critics (I feel like it prevailed in it's arguments). B-17 has a point: Brooks generosity to hardcourt's three flagship events this summer is without parallel, sometimes it's difficult to strike the right balance in showing our appreciation.

Montana asked me to post this:

Awe look it's a martini glass.

Hilarious. I hope that map makes sense. It's not really supposed to be hanging out down here as a post, but we couldn't figure out how to put it up top where it's supposed to live. It's all info that's already up on the Fed site, but now it's here too. Cheap (for downtown Philly) hotel rooms near the courts, a bike shop, great bars, and a hostel. More housing possibilities pending. Pipe down, Jackal, aren't you supposed to be busy playing matchmaker?

did you think that matchmakers hid in the closet pretty boy?

IMG_7487

Apologies, Joe. It was pretty funny, though. I wonder where I put that Sonics jersey, that was pretty sweet. TPL will be sponsoring a radar-judged "Worlds' fastest shot" competition, so start juicing, everybody.

I still have a prototype mallet head that was machined from solid delrin. I guarantee that it's heavier and harder then any other mallet head out there, if someone wants some "world's fastest shot" specific equipment.

No equipment restrictions, all St. Dago, TPL and custom mallets permitted, so long as it's YOUR TOURNAMENT MALLET. You can use a cinder block on the end of a lacrosse shaft with four class-D model rocket engines taped to it, as long as you're willing to spend the rest of the weekend trying to stick-handle with it.

What's the prize for fastest shot? I doubt I'm in contention for the championship, so I'll lugg a cinder block around for the weekend if the pot is sweet enough.

It's St Cago, by the way. Dago is something else.

Do you mean a mallet-face plug? I'd love to see those. Delrin was my first choice for the TPL caps because it's super hard and wears really well, but we couldn't find it in an OD that matched any of the ABS or HDPE, and we found it to be too heavy (and expensive). Oh, shit, not ANOTHER mallet thread! And no-one to blame but myself. When will it end?

hey montana can we register individually and just use the same team name?

Huh? I think the answer to your question is no: There's no individual registration, only teams. I'm not really worried what team name you use, there can be duplicates. If you want to register now to beat the cap, but you don't have a team, you can still do that: only one person needs to register, and you don't have to know your whole roster to be eligible. Good?

hey montana can you answer an email i sent you last week and im about to resend you please! thanks!

Anyone know if Dans ta gueule (Paris) is coming and if Guthrie is playing with them?

MALICE for the people.

hé hé YES THE TEAM is comming!

Word. Are there any other Parisian teams coming?

MALICE for the people.

Ya Marc is coming, but not with FFF. I think he's playing with Julien but i can't remember who else.

Again, I'm trying to keep up with teams as they register; they're listed on the "events" page at the Fed site. Unfortunately, not everyone has sent me a full team roster, so those aren't posted, but it will give you a pretty solid idea of who's coming. I know NY A (Paul, Doug, Zach) and Seattle A (Sebastian, Leon, Dustin) have registered since my last update.

kev wrote:

yeah Marc is playing with Stephan (German Parisian) and me, Nick (Australian Parisian)

Can I just give you this here? BAD, Berlin, and Candy Colored Clowns are registered on your "events" page. Malice will take the spot registered by Tom (tomasito from london) as "NE Crew- UK."

I'm sure about these two teams:

Malice International (London; Otters, James Brown, vidal)
BAD Polo (London; aiden, brendan, dt)

Pretty sure about these:

Candy Colored Clowns (Karlsruhe; Hannes, Steffen, Marc)
Barlin (Berlin; Marc, Stefan, Morgan)

Hannes didn't play with CCC at the Euros, so they may have their sub playing for him.

Cheers.

howdy, quick question. can you take yr bike on the train from NYC to Philly?

Yes. If you take the NJ transit train to Trenton and transfer to the SEPTA R7 to Philadelphia, both trains allow bikes (off peak). It's not a bad train ride, and takes around two hours total. You'll get into 30th st. station in Philly, and I think it leaves from Penn Station in NY. I think one-way fare is $22.
You can also take the Chinatown bus. Ask a New Yorker, but it usually departs from a corner near the base of the Manhattan Bridge, maybe Broadway or Grand? You'll be able to spot it by the huge mosh-pit of people trying to muscle each other out of the way to get onto dilapidated, unmarked buses, and the small, angry Chinese women shouting "DC Feely DC Feely DC Feely DC Feely DC Feely!" Don't bother asking them whether the bus you're standing in front of goes to DC or Philadelphia, they either don't know or won't tell you. On way fare is $10, and usually takes around two hours, unless the bus breaks and you have to wait on I-95 for another one to get you. It will drop you off in Chinatown in Philly, at 11th and Race.

Holy shit, kids, 32 teams are registered so far, not including Geneva and Malice, who won airfare at Euros (so presumably are coming) but haven't registered yet. Just a reminder, attendance is capped at 48 teams, so we're getting close to the mark. In the next few days I'll make an effort to get in touch with you all individually to verify that you're coming - at some point I'll have to give preference to somebody who knows their roster, has a team name and is ready to pre-pay online (over a team that doesn't know who's coming and hasn't pre-payed). Thanks to everybody who has pre-registered so far - you're awesome and you make my life easy. I'll update the list on the Fed site soon. Sorry, CoMO, you're still stuck in Jersey. But that's what you get for being from Jersey.

i'm not from jersey! i'm from columbia, missouri, and would prefer to have the team reflect that... don't punish all three for the crimes of one...

Jersey, Jersey sympathizer, whatever. You're all the same to me.

Saturday night seems like the logical choice for the party: everybody will be here, and after a full day of rigorous athletics, we'll all be thirsty and full of stories to tell. I'll have shitloads of free beer for you, and everyone will be fat and happy. This, however, will work directly against my real need to have everyone wide-awake and ready to play at 10 am on sunday. With 48 teams on three courts, we'll need a full day to finish the tournament, and I'd hate to see any of my friends have to choose between getting completely shitfaced and competing in earnest for the title of World Champion. So maybe the party Friday night? How many people will be in Philly in time for that to work? Tell me your feelings, I'm here for you.

mke people are looking for a place to stay to for free we are poor
www.mkebikepolo.com

Free lodging is the one thing we don't have. Only six people in Philly play polo, and most of them are tapped. Mark's working on it, but I wouldn't hold your breath. We negotiated a great deal with a nearby hotel for cheap rooms, and I posted it here and at the Fed site, but not a single person has reserved a room so they balked. You guys are on your own now, sorry.

our team reserved a room. they better still be giving us the discounted price!

TOP CENTER 4-EVA

Okay catfish, I'm going to move my mouth like this...

free housing is what polo tournys are about.. why the fuck did you call to host this tourny if you cant even put people up. that being said from what i hear about how you left you hostess's house in madison, i doubt we would offer free housing to you again. for the record, it was just you and mark, apparently chris was a complete gentleman.

Ben, you've got a point. Most people have come to expect free or very low cost housing after the expense of traveling to a tournament, and I've definitely fucked up in failing to locate two nights of free lodging for 150 polo players. But, look on the bright side: it could be worse. I could have failed to secure an appropriate venue for my tournament and only realized the fact two weeks before the date. Then, in the hopes of mitigating the disaster, I could have asked all of my friends at the last minute to bring special equipment (at their own expense). Then imagine that after it became obvious that my tournament was ruining the venue I'd reserved I tried to conceal the fact by asking all of the tournament participants to crawl on their hands and knees in filthy water, scouring the floor til the early morning hours. Then imagine I asked them to do the same thing the next night. Can you imagine my embarassment? Jesus Fucking Christ, I'd never live that down. So, yeah, I fucked up pretty big. But at least I didn't fuck up that bad (yet). Whew, what a relief! As far as the big, greasy chain print on Sam's carpet: yeah, that sucked. Mark and I both offered to pay to have it cleaned, but Sam graciously declined, probably because the carpet was a little ratty anyways, and it was obvious to anybody with any sense that the stain was never going to come out no matter what anybody did, so trying to give him money just made us look (and feel) like even bigger assholes. Sam, a thousand apologies again, you were a great host.

i should point out that you, are not my friend. but yea, that was the tourney that we through, and im fine with that, next year were going to make it event more difficult. Oh, and it wasnt just the chain smear, it was the fact that your a complete fucking asshole that made you a bad guest.

i would say look forward to seeing you on the court in philly, but somehow i doubt youll be on a team

It's true, assholes do make lousy houseguests, and I'm really sorry if I said or did anything that upset my hosts. They were wonderful, and I regret if we were anything but. And no, I won't be playing in this tournament, I'll be lucky to make it threw the weekend as it is. Maybe another time.

through...

It could be worse! Montana could forget his credit card at a bar, and then you drive him there, and then he has to borrow YOUR money to get his card back! OMG so embarrassing!

There ain't no charter, so there ain't no provision for housing when a club hosts a major tournament. The Philly club is doing a ridiculous amount of work to put on a show for you all, give 'em a break.

Also, even the largest polo club in the states wouldn't have enough free couch and floor space to host 48 teams worth of polo players and hangers-on. So like it or not, hotels, camping, and staying with non- polo players/couchsurfing is going to become a part of these things if they keep growing.

hey damon, do you want to help me write a bid for a big bike polo tournament in east van next year? i don't know which one to go for just yet, but i'd like to at least submit a bid and see how we do. pluses: cascadia, the new skytrain direct from airport to commercial drive, the one thousand places to stay plus camping, the amazing summer weather. cons: distance from australia.

lucky, those words don't convey the same sense of entitlement you displayed the last time you visited 1105 e johnson... during the chicago 2003-2008 era.

Without knowing which specific comments/behaviors you're referencing, the only thing I can reply with is either Bike Polo has gotten a lot bigger or I've grown up a little.

The future of bike polo is in all of our hands. If free housing is a priority for the majority of us, let's make sure that the ability to do that is a consideration in the bidding process for major tourneys. Let's not harshly criticize someone(s) who is/are making a huge effort to host a huge tourney with no guidelines or precedents as if they were violating established policy. Because no such policy exists.

Chicago Bike Polo 2003-2008

policies exist , its just that you want them to be official, and there not, this is the major problem with shits like motanana and well your not a shit but you have the same problem, bike polo is for fun, not organizing, and yes its gonna get huge, but that doesn't mean you need to slap on some rules and organization. we gotz that covered. and yes sometimes that requires our "friends" to spend their late nights scrubbing gym floors, but it also allows for them to sleep on our floors and couches and everything.

as for harshly criticizing people, lets remember its philly who is throwing this tourny, not montana, montana is a piece of shit who ruins your carpet, destroys the teams he play on, and tries to sell our entire sport out to some federation that doesnt event exist, by force/threat. so in case that wasnt clear, montana, my opinion of you is that your a piece of shit, that being said thanks for being part of throwing this tourney in philly. im gonna have a blast, and probably come in 4th.

ben wrote:

...montana is a guy working really hard for all of us who ruined one person's carpet and apologized many times for it, plays as hard and as well as he can, like any of us, and tried to create a loose, legal entity which is totally under the control of any players who get involved and not Montana himself, so any of us who want to help direct our sport towards or away from any goal or harassment can do so. so in case that wasnt clear, montana, my opinion of you is that youre a good guy who is working his ass off to do his part in a huge undertaking that a lot of us are going to enjoy...that being said thanks for being part of throwing this tourney in philly. im gonna get DQ'ed

And as far as fourth place - They'll probably give me the Pete Rose for this, but...

1) Smile (Seattle A)
2) Balls Deep
3) RVA

I'm thinking that leaves Hero Squad, Faceless Emotion (NY A), Mallets of Mayhem, The Prophecy (E Van), and a Philly squad with Chris Roberts taking my place to fight out the top five. There's a Portland squad with Joker in tow, a Midwest mixer with Jon and Leif from Madison with BriMKE, and Brian Bolles is really stepping up on a two-lefty Chicago team. And that list assumes that nobody in Europe knows how to play polo. Plus, there's still three spots left. I give MadPolo a solid shot at top ten.

On a related note, I hope I'm wrong about Seattle, because the trophy is going to be a massive, awkward, Stanley Cup looking fucker that nobody's going to let you carry onto an airplane, and I'll go into debt shipping that goddamned thing to the West Coast, let alone Europe.

Who are you?

Marc, Stephan and I from Paris will be in NYC for most of the week preceding the tourney basically to play polo and figure out the local rules. coz yknow in Paris we play that the goalie can put his foot down 4 times before he has to ride in a circle and gentle touching is allowed but no rough stuff. Its quite possible that they play a little different aux États-Unis.

Do you guys have a guy named Nicholas coming from Paris?

Right now, there's only three spots left, assuming Geneva can make it to Philly, so it's getting tight.

IF YOU ARE SHIPPING YOUR BIKE: Trophy Bike Garage
1040 N. American St.
Philadelphia, PA 19123

This is our bike shop sponsor. They're pretty near the courts, awesome dudes, and good friends of mine. However, they're a little overwhelmed right now. There was a fire last week in the condo upstairs, and the whole shop got flooded with the stinky water from the sprinklers/firehoses. It's gross, and they're a little stressed out. The shop is open for business again 7 days a week, and they'll receive your bike, but please DON'T ask them to use their tools or try to assemble your bike in the shop. I'll leave a toolbox with some of my own tools for you to use, and there's a courtyard behind the shop where you can assemble your bikes, OR we'll bring them to the courts on Saturday morning. Make arrangements to get there a little early (8:30ish), and there will be a mechanic with tools to help you.

The # for the shop is 215-592-1234
Write "World Championship" on the box so they know not to sell your bike.

Geneva (EHBPC Champs), Ballz Deep, and the Trophy Wives (Philly) make it 47 teams, one slot remaining.

That's it, we have 48 teams registered! So registration is closed.
Thank you to everyone who registered early, we very much appreciate your cooperation, it makes this process much easier!
See you soon
Kathryn

montana will kill me for saying this, but i say crash the party. all for polo and polo for all.

yeah, just assume that a few teams won't show up.

I wouldn't make that assumption. I'll be sending out a final confirmation e-mail to all my teams this week, and I've already got a wait list of teams/players to notify if anybody backs out, but I expect a full house, and there's no way I can bracket more than 48 teams on three courts. And Pieter, I wouldn't be telling people to crash, I'll just give them your spot since I still don't have your reg or your money. It's totally free to show up and watch, there's two courts for pick-up, and if I don't get totally mobbed I'll give you wristbands so you can eat/drink tournament food/beer for free and come to the party etc. but you WILL NOT be allowed to compete. Sorry, kids. Where was everybody in April when I needed your pre-reg money to reserve facilities for 60 teams?

i blame rory for our registration blues. he was so obviously wiping the sweat off of his face when he should have been registering us. fuck you rory.

ha, you do have hot eats. i knew it
