What's the polo set-up going to be like?

The setup will be in a warehouse. Next week I will be constructing the barriers for the walls (40 ft W x 65 ft L x 2 ft H). Wider than doubles tennis, but shorter. I'll post some pictures next week once it is complete. Are you joining Malakai? He mentioned that about 9 from Scary Larry will be there and 3 more from Tulsa. I have hotel rooms booked for y'all. If you know others that want to play, give them my info.

Would you mind getting ahold of Mitch? I have been in touch with Malakai in order to get this organized, but I haven't heard from him in weeks. We have three guys from Tulsa coming up and possibly some from Colorado. I have booked a few rooms for anyone that needs a place to crash on that night. If you do not mind forwarding on this information to others, the more the merrier. Free beer, indoor game, spectators, what more can you ask for? It'll be a good time. Let me know if you have any questions.

will talk to some Colorado guys about this... is it a tournament, or pickup matches, or what?

it's not a tournament, but there will be some prizes. It's more of a chance to play some polo inside, have some beer, and show the people of Salina how much fun bike polo can be. It would be great to get some guys from Colorado out here. If you let me know by the end of the week with a number of people willing to make the trek, I will book y'all a place to stay.

I heard there was going to be a pole in the middle of the court??

It is in a renovated warehouse, so there are a couple of support poles that will be in the area of play. Not too bad. I wouldn't be too concerned about it. We really just want to have a good time, and bring some attention to a sport that is not visible in Salina. Perhaps this will spark an interest to start a polo team here in Salina. It would be a perfect location as it is in the center of the state and could be the link between Denver, Lawrence, and Tulsa.

There is also a few here in Salina that are very excited to scrimmage a bit too. Do you have an email I can send some images to? Hope you can make it. I can have a room for you and your guys if so.

I'm out. Too far to drive with no real tournament structure. Have fun guys.

Tulsa & Manhattan, great to see you all and play and get rowdy!

Joseph, YOU RULE. Thanks for hosting this shit. Such good vibes from everybody. Really fun polo (even though the floor was slick). SO MUCH BEER/FOOD/FUN. Legit.

SEE EVERYONE IN A MONTH (at our tournament)

ya, it was super groovy!
