Sno-lo in Calgary

We lost the hard-court playing surface for the winter season here in Calgary (local community association put ice on it so people can skate on it), so what's a polo addict to do? Play on snow!

A group of us were thinking we'd actually be playing on grass this morning (no, not that grass, silly), but just before game time the white stuff started coming down and we soon had a good 5cm on the field, which just added to the challenge and excitement of our pre-christmas polo match.

With a few chinooks expected, we should be able to continue to play grass-court polo throughout the winter, until hard-court starts up again in the spring. Gotta keep in shape for the 2nd Annual Ramsay Bown next July!
