Post a picture of your club's pickup court(s) so the rest of the poloverse can see where you play.
^This is one of the places we play in MPLS.
Aw, Lauderdale Park, how I love thee.
Too bad our other spot isn't as photogenic.
oh hey this is great, but i the best place to post is http://leagueofbikepolo.com/node/add/court and then they'll show up here http://leagueofbikepolo.com/courts
TIL: lobp has a courts page.
Damn Kev! Just when I thought I had done all the scouring of LOBP without finding a bunch of pictures of courts...thanks for the direction towards where to post these pics!
Indianapolis has a court that was built by our own players using funds from our club and permission from the parks department. Side by side goodness.
Having just played on these courts, I'm in love. smooth. Predictable bounce. There was something else... oh yeah, TWO FUCKING COURTS HOT DAMN GGKKTHXBAI
Combination of choice: Smash + Bang
and who doesn't like a video to go along with the project!
You trying to make me cry over here Sam?
Keep your standards low, and morale high.
JoCo in SF will make you cry. No one has a worse court in a better location.
Good news: SF could potentially plop down a court anywhere with all material transported by bike or foot.
Bad news: our court is made of nets strings and tent poles.
Seriously, it is the most ridiculous court in the world. We work very f'n hard to make the slay.
No one has a worse court in a better location.
Havana might be able to compete in that dept. The reason there's a guy standing behind the goal (check out the goal!) pre-joust is that we need someone there full time to fetch out the balls that go into the trench spanning almost this whole end of the court.
As for the "better location" part, the other end of the court is on 23rd, La Rampa, which is to Havana what Broadway is to NYC. We've recruited a fair number of players from among passers-by.
I can't understand why people are frightened of new ideas. I'm frightened of the old ones.

bad news: i still have flashbacks of my head smacking against that basketball upright.
good news: i finished that game.
Nah, Corvalis OR definitely rivals that ridiculousness.
Rebar in the corners, with one giant ratchet strap as the outer boards.
My cup runeth over with blood and not wine
lot of rookie jibber jabber in here, not a lot of pictures.

PRO PRO PRO PRO PRO PRO big ups to nyc bike polo for the frames.
#ledge legend status
Does anyone else have to use a machete to clear the weeds behind the goal? :-)
No, but occasionally we have to figure out a way to clean up human feces. Thanks P&R for getting rid of the porta-john at the park where we play.
shotgun your bike!
In Chicago we pick up glass, condom wrappers, eggs, dog shit, goose shit, people shit, oh yeah.. and BULLETS.
Not shell casings but an actual spent slug from a .40S&W handgun.
On a positive note though, a peregrine falcon swoops down every now and again and kills/eats a squirrel or a pigeon. So we got that goin' for us, which is nice.
STEP INTO THE SQUARED CIRCLE, BROTHER!!!
We don't really have any good aerial shots. But it's tennis court surface. Short, wide court - sometimes referred to as the Squircle. Aka- Garf. But we have nice boards and it's fenced in..

Come on down.
Minneapolis has a new indoor winter spot.
well well well..
Howdy, Neighbor ;)
It's PROBABLY not haunted, but my dog DID sit and stare down this dark hallway, unmoving, for a solid 10 minutes.
But, yeah, it's AWESOME!
AND, we're using the goals we built for NA's. So boss.
Don't Mind if I do ! Hometown;
Indoor court in Riga, Latvia
Looks small but nice. I bet it is loads of fun.
can't say it's big - 11 x 30m
couldn't find a wider place for this winter
And my new home court in Melbourne... cause I am nomadic as fuck.
