Hey hey hey!

Just a quick update- Tacoma Polo is now playing Wednesdays @ 7-ish at the "Hub Lot" (parking lot next to Harmon Hub) and on Sundays at the tennis courts at Franklin Park. Play usually starts by 3 on Sundays ( no official start time has been discussed). Get in touch with Chris to get on the text message list for announcements and updates!

Update again: lost the courts at Franklin Park. Sundays often at the Hub, but best to check before coming out. Wednesdays still a regular thing at the Hub Lot.

Update of an update of an update:
Still searching for a home, we have begun to play on Saturday afternoons at the abandoned Save-A-Lot parking lot in hilltop on MLK. We are also starting to play on weekdays in a city approved (?) spot with lights at a parking garage on Commerce.

Our FB page usually has some updates.

Hello Tacoma!

Come down to Oly sometime, we play every Sunday and Wednesday around eight thirty in some lit tennis courts at the evergreen state college.

We're also interested in coming up soon, so give us a holler.

Word. Are the courts you play at covered? Our parking lot is, but once or twice we've been outnumbered by parents parking for band practice or something, so holler first if you are planning to drive up. 206 963 4846

Courts aren't covered so this time of year our days are weather dependent.

Hey Tacoma polo players! My name is Chris, I'm the guy from the new bike shop here (http://defiancebicycles.com). Just wanted to introduce myself and say whats up. I see Jake Hupp is already up on here, and a couple folks I havent met yet (right?). Soooo, if you dont already know, we have been playing Weds nights at ~6pm in the Stadium High parking lot, which is both covered and lit (!). If you dont know where exactly that is, just meet up @ Defiance Bicycles (google will tell you where) and we can ride down there together, its like 5 blocks from the shop, and theres usually parking in front of the shop if you are coming in from distant lands.

If you haven't heard yet, I will be stepping down as Cascadia Regional Rep, and Board member. My plan is to use the month of January to find my replacement. Please start thinking about this role and how it will affect you and your city now. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

-January 1st to midnight Jan 7th to put in your name as a Candidate. Please post your name, and short campaign speech IN THE THREAD ON THE CASCADIA PAGE.
-January 8th to midnight Jan 22nd City Reps talk to your cities and VOTE by emailing me your choice (this is only for one spot)
-Shannon and Cecily will speak with the new Regional Rep and decide among the 3 of them who will be the new Cascadia Board member.

Please spread the word to anyone you think needs to know about this, I want this turnover to be smooth and soon before the season get to heavily upon us.

Thank you all for your trust and confidence these past few months,

Hey Tacoma! I know of an underused hockey court (i never see it used), Its in Milton approx. five miles out of Tacoma, in Triangle Park. Its the size of one tennis court, has built in nest/goals, fully fenced, and may have lights. I'll check out the situation, maybe try to take some pictures. Would anyone be down to get something started on friday night at five or six? Any takers? Anyone?

Here's the address.

1301-1499 15th Ave
Milton, WA 98354

Sounds great - I'd be down to check that out.
We need a few more, though, to make it a night.

Did we ever check this out? I would be up for a Friday evening or weekend adventure...

Have we any weekend games organized yet? I'll be there.
