aiming 10 euros per person

Aiming no profit.
If there's profit, re-invest in polo for sure.

Partnership, donnation, stat and city subventions, subscriptions fees, swet.
Cost: About 10.000 euros.
All the finances will be clearly broadcasted.
Food and drink:
Cheap food and drink for welcome party.
For other days, we gonna manage to have cheap food and drink available.
Insurance:
No insurances at all
Medical:
Permanent paramedics on spot included.
Format:
Pool system first day (40-50 teams).
Double elimination the seconde (on 32 teams, like London Ehbpc 2009)

For a pre-subscribtion:
To 31 January post the number of teams that your city would send to our tournamanet (and their names, names of players and pedigrees). Every city has to have an official contact. If needed we will start a selection process.

Congrats for getting the bid together. Is it too early for questions?
With 20 players, how do you plan to house up to 150 players?
What's the pool system to get through 40-50 teams in 1 day on 2 courts? How many games would each team get if 50 teams?
Could you explain registration a bit more?
10 euros entry, no big sponsors, and government supported, sounds awesome!
If a foreign player gets hurt and needs more than a paramedic, what does s/he have to do/have to get help in Geneva?

For housing: we have a small polo community but a big bicycle community (messengers, hipsters, activists) who can help us. We have also an alternative solution for housing, we gonna rent for cheap price antinuke shelters from city.
For pool system, like in london: from 40 to 32 i.e. . Depend how many courts we can get.
For registration systeme. Can't tell you much more now, but we thinking on a good systeme I think. I need to check with my comitee if I can tell you more.
For entry, sponsors etc... all this points depending on government and city of Geneva. First meeting tomorow...
Same for insurance.
I'm gonna update bid on every change happens.

The most important question I had is what happens if a foreign player gets hurt and needs more help than paramedics? What's the procedure?

do it on the later date so the north americans can come after the north american championships. theirs are the same weekend as the euros might be. if the euros fall after then people can coordinate the flights to come to both and then hit up berlin. i know i want to do them all this year.

Free housing in civilian protection for everybody (including extra places).
Bad news:
Absolutely no insurance at all for this type of event in Geneva... you need to get cover by your own way.
